Product Description

Turn loose banding and strapping into manageable, recyclable scrap right where it’s generated.

The SWEED Model 300 is a compact scrap chopper designed for facilities that generate lower volumes of steel banding, PET/plastic strapping and other lightweight linear scrap. Instead of allowing long, tangled material to accumulate around your operation or fill dumpsters, the Model 300 chops it into short, manageable pieces for easier collection, handling and recycling.

Processing scrap at the source helps improve workplace housekeeping and safety, maximize container capacity, reduce waste handling, and prepare recyclable material for its next destination. PET strapping can achieve approximately 10:1 volume reduction, with steel banding and wire capable of even greater reduction depending on the material.

Simple to operate and maintain, the Model 300 is made and supported in the USA and backed by SWEED’s one-year limited warranty.

Our History

It all started with an imported gang saw. After WWII, three brothers from Germany migrated to the United States and built a sawmill on Galls Creek in Gold Hill, Oregon. Dissatisfied with the imported gang saw they were using, they decided they could make a better saw themselves.
