Gold Hill, Oregon — SWEED has appointed Brent Hensley as Sales Manager for its Wood Products division, reinforcing the company’s focus on engineered wood manufacturing and material handling systems.

Hensley brings over ten years of experience in wood products equipment sales, including work with robotics and automation. He has specialized in plant layout and process development to improve production throughput, enhance safety, and make more efficient use of space. His approach centers on understanding both the present and future needs of each facility, working collaboratively with customers to develop practical, well-aligned solutions.

In his role, Hensley will work with wood products manufacturers to evaluate material flow challenges and identify opportunities to improve performance through SWEED’s equipment and integration capabilities. SWEED designs veneer handling, panel transfer, and material handling systems that support consistent production across plywood, LVL, OSB, and related operations. These systems are modular and can be applied as individual upgrades to existing lines or as part of a broader system approach, depending on the needs of the mill .
