Single Sheet Feeder

Seamless Integrations for Precision and Efficiency in Production.

SWEED Single Sheet Feeders are a high-speed and efficient solution for introducing individual sheets into a production line. Similar to SWEED’s dryer infeed, the single sheet feeder moves veneer in the direction of the grain, ensuring a fast and precise feed into the production process.

The Single Sheet Feeder is fed via a robust rollcase and hoist that deliver loads of veneer to the feeder section. The vacuum feeder and air-actuated pinch roll assemblies gently, but swiftly unstack the veneer, creating a single-layer flow that propels the sheets onto a landing table or conveyor, up to 22+ sheets per minute. The Single Sheet Feeder line can be further customized to present the veneer according to your application needs.

Our History

It all started with an imported gang saw. After WWII, three brothers from Germany migrated to the United States and built a sawmill on Galls Creek in Gold Hill, Oregon. Dissatisfied with the imported gang saw they were using, they decided they could make a better saw themselves.
