Sales & Service

ABOUT THE SALES PROCESS

For applications that are unique, SWEED will provide a design sheet to potential customers in order to obtain more technical information regarding the material.

Choppers + Recycling Systems

Need a custom solution or not sure what unit will fit your needs? We are able to provide a design sheet to potential customers in order to obtain more technical information regarding your specific company and the material you’ll be processing. In some instances, we may also request samples of the material in order to test how our equipment handles the scrap and what the potential load capacities are. When we run these tests, we video the before and after results, and then our engineering team makes a recommendation for the unit. You are also welcome to schedule a visit to our facility and view the sample test in person.

From parts to technical assistance, our sales and engineering team are available to help you through the sales process, as well as provide support after sale and installation. We are available to provide recommendations for maximizing your system so you can increase efficiency and production, troubleshoot issues, and much more. We want to make sure you get the most out of your SWEED equipment!

Most standard units are in-stock and available to ship right away. If you require a custom unit, a SWEED engineer will be assigned the design and they will work closely with our sales team and you to ensure your complete satisfaction with the unit. We know your business is unique, as are your needs, so we’re here to help you pick the unit that will be most beneficial and cost effective in the long run–and answer any questions you may have in the future with your equipment!

When it comes time for installation, our team provides installation drawings and oversees the mechanical placement of equipment and assures electrical termination is done correctly. We also offer start-up support and training to assure our systems and equipment operate properly and to their full potential. We know these steps will help set you and your business up for success.

Our History

It all started with an imported gang saw. After WWII, three brothers from Germany migrated to the United States and built a sawmill on Galls Creek in Gold Hill, Oregon. Dissatisfied with the imported gang saw they were using, they decided they could make a better saw themselves.
