The Sweed 10-27 Mini-Shear is designed to fulfill the need for a small portable trimming and clearing shear. The Sweed Mini-Shear can be used for trimming fittings off copper tubing, cutting reinforcing steel to length, cutting up production rejects—to name a few uses. The Mini-Shear is manufactured from mild steel throughout with the jaw opening to 31/2” at the tips. The machine features an easily adjustable blade and all brushes and pins are fitted with grease points. This unit also features a remote foot control unit and incorporate a safety interlock which opens the jaw at any point in the cycle immediately when the foot is removed from the pedal.
