The Sweed Econo-Vac automates the charging of the dryer feeder, using a vacuum-driven veneer pickup and delivery system. A “bump” feature all but eliminates double feeds and can be adapted to any feeding arrangement. Because the lifting and feeding of the veneer is accomplished via a powerful vacuum gripper system, it can be easily adjusted for any weight of core material. The chain drive ensures timely, accurate feeding to reduce manpower requirements and reduce waste.
