Model 200

The new Model 200 Scrap Chopper is a completely redesigned, compact yet heavy-duty granulator that rips through plastic strap and reduces it to 3/16” chips. The Model 200 boasts a patented self-sharpening knife and a stout 3/4hp motor that handles up to 5 or 6 pieces of plastic strap per pass at a rate of over 100 FPM. Weighing 55lbs, the Model 200 is highly portable and can be used on any flat work surface, over any conventional collection bin, or configured for use with air evacuation systems. Design and cost benefits make this chopper an ideal fit for mills that need a heavy-duty, compact and economical solution to processing any amount of 5/8” and 3/4” scrap plastic strapping.

How it Works

Just introduce the material (banding) into the infeed funnel. The feedworks (pinch rolls) will then grab the material and pull it into the rotating knife path. The feedworks will continue to pull at a rate of 108 FPM until the material is consumed or the operator releases the feedworks via the release lever.
